GRAND LAKE, Okla. – The Murray State College Bass Fishing Team made a statement on the national stage this week, taking home the The Bass Federation (TBF) JUCO National Championship title after an impressive showing against 30 teams across 6 colleges in Oklahoma.

Leading the way for the Aggies were Braden Lankford and Matt Manners, who brought in the winning bag to secure the national championship for Murray State. Right behind them were teammates Conner McAllister and Ayden Ford, who finished in second place, giving the Aggies an incredible 1–2 finish.

"This team is truly special. We have seasoned talent and freshmen that are settling in and showing their skills as well," said Coach Owen. "They are all just starting to scratch the surface with what they can and will do. Winning our second National Title is unbelievable. Everyone on our team plays an important role, and I could not be happier for them. Big things are coming."

The Murray State College Bass Fishing Team will return to action Nov. 1 for the Oklahoma College Bass Championship at Lake Murray.
