ALTUS, Okla - Murray State connected for nine three pointers but it wasn't enough to offset a red-hot Western State College offense as the Aggies fell 88-83 on the road Monday night to wrap up the first half of conference play.

The host Pioneers led 38-34 at intermission and then matched the Aggies nearly point for point in a high-scoring second half.

Treyvaughn Williams canned three treys and poured in 16 of his 21 points after the break to lead the comeback bid. Isaiah Lewis also had a big second half with 11 points.

Adding to Williams' team-high scoring total was Tarrance Austin with 17 points as Lewis ended with 16 for the game. R.J. Chatman tossed in nine, Stanley Harley and Rustin Coffey tallied eight points apiece with Jackson Lawley and Quincy Jones both posting two.

Murray State slips to 10-12 overall and 5-3 in league play. The Aggies begin the second half of conference action on Thursday when they host Seminole State College.
