Scoring was hard to come by Sunday afternoon, but Murray State men's goalkeeper Jaron Noble put on a dazzling display to help the Aggies preserve a 0-0 tie with NOC-Enid in conference play.

Noble came up with 13 saves, including four consecutive during a wild flurry with just four minutes remaining in the contest to turn away the Jet offensive barrage. He added two nifty tip saves in the final minute of the first half and a spectacular diving block with 6:10 left in the game.

"It was a tough day offensively," head coach John Connor stated. "We missed a bit of spark that we normally have. We had our chances but when you don't take advantage of any of them that's what happens.

"I told the guys after the game they could thank Jaron for the tie because he had a terrific game in goal today."

The Aggies managed 12 shots on goal themselves but could not find the back of the net on any, coming away empty handed in spite of some near misses.

Murray State looked like it might break the ice with 12:11 left in the opening half but Dominic Woolley drilled an open shot just off the right post.

Another opportunity came less than 90 seconds into the second half as a header from Lucas Peruzo narrowly missed the goal. Jah-Malee Barclay's clean header was saved with 1:10 left in the contest to thwart the Aggies' final scoring threat.

The Aggies travel to University of Arkansas Rich Mountain for their next outing on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
