Lowe resigns as Lady Aggie basketball coach

After four highly successful seasons at the helm, Murray State College women's basketball coach Steve Lowe has resigned his position with the Lady Aggies to pursue other coaching opportunities.

Lowe led the program to three Region 2 championships and qualified for the NJCAA Division I National Tournament all three of those seasons. The only non-title campaign was the COVID shortened 2021 season. During his tenure, the Lady Aggies amassed an overall record of 85-34 for an outstanding .714 winning percentage.

Over the four seasons under Lowe's direction, Murray State had one honorable mention All-American, two Region 2 tournament MVPs, one conference Newcomer of the Year, four All-Conference players as well as a pair of NJCAA Top 40 All Stars.

Murray State will begin a search for a new head coach immediately.
