Murray State women rout Paris

Six Lady Aggies poured in double-figure point totals and Murray State had one of its best shooting performances of the season in an 83-50 road drubbing of Paris Junior College on Saturday.

The Lady Aggies connected on 10 three-pointers in the contest, building a 20-15 advantage after one stanza and steadily increased that margin throughout the game. It was a 44-28 Murray edge at halftime and 64-39 after three periods.

Sophomore Briana Knabe pumped in 18 points to lead all scorers in her best scoring game of the season to date. Reese Webb tossed in 16 points with Lanie Gooch and Jade Millan each adding 13 as well as Mattie Busby and Remi Langmaid contributing 10 apiece. Teniola Okunrinkoya rounded out the scoring with three.

Coach Steve Lowe's club, which improved to 7-5 on the season, will be back on the road Saturday, Dec. 10 at Grayson County College for a 2 p.m. tipoff.
