Travis Burdine

Murray State College announced the hiring of Travis Burdine as the inaugural head coach of the Aggies men's and women's flag football programs in the Spring of 2026. 

Burdine brings more than 15 years of coaching and student-athlete development experience to Tishomingo. Most recently, he served as Defensive Coordinator at Mount St. Mary’s High School while also working in athletic performance and fitness leadership roles.

Previously, Burdine was the Head Football Coach at Western Heights High School and coached multiple sports at Classen SAS at Northeast, along with stops at Douglass and Prague High Schools.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southwestern College and holds certifications as a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Post-Rehabilitation Specialist.
