Spear enters his first year at Murray State College in the summer of 2026. Spear brings more than 25 years of coaching experience and a proven track record of developing student-athletes both on and off the field. His background includes coaching at the youth, club, and collegiate levels, as well as extensive experience in leadership, player development, and team management.
Most recently, Spear served as an assistant coach for the men's and women's soccer programs at Jacksonville College during the 2023-24 season. He also currently coaches with Solar Soccer Club, one of the premier soccer organizations in Texas, where he works with ECNL and ECNL Regional League teams competing at a high level. Throughout his coaching career, he has helped guide and mentor countless players, with 89 student-athletes earning opportunities to continue their careers at the collegiate level.
A former collegiate player at Midwestern State University, Spear also competed with the Dallas Americans professional reserve squad, highlighted by a match against the United States National Team.
Spear earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Dallas Baptist University and an Associate in Applied Science in Business from Tarrant County Junior College.
