Todd Smith

Coach Smith is in his sixth year as the head of the Aggie Rodeo Program, continuing to field one of the most competitive teams in the Central Plains Region of the NIRA!

Formerly the Head Rodeo Coach of Bacone College in Muskogee Oklahoma, Coach Smith brings excitement and energy both in and outside of the arena. Over his 40 years in rodeo,Todd holds 7 Freestyle Bullfighting championship titles, and currently holds multiple memberships in several rodeo associations as a Profession Rodeo Judge.  He also competed in Bareback riding through the early years. 

Coach Smith is a retired educator with over 31 years of education experience in the Oklahoma School system.  He has also served various communities for the past 32 years as a firefighter & EMT-B.  He has continued with a career as an NCAA D-II Basketball official and qualified for the NAIA National tournament twice over his 40plus years in athletics.

Todd and his wife Shawn moved to Tishomingo from Northeastern Oklahoma where they raised 5 kids and 14 grand kids on their family farm.
