Why Murray State? “I chose Murray State, because I wanted to continue livestock judging at the collegiate level while getting my degree in Animal Nutrition. Judging has always been something I enjoy, and I knew Murray State would help me improve my evaluation and reasons skills while giving me opportunities to meet people and grow in the livestock industry. The full-ride judging scholarship also made Murray State a great opportunity for me to continue doing what I love while working toward my future career.
Major: Animal Science
High School: Bray-Doyle High School
High School Accomplishments: Valedictorian of your graduating class, State FFA Degree, FFA Chapter President for 3 years, Top 5 at NAILE, Won your natural class at the Phoenix National Sheep Show, Top 5 Senior Showman at Tulsa State Fair, Strong experience raising, showing, and judging livestock, Leadership in FCCLA, FCA, and Student Council, Competing successfully in livestock judging and showmanship throughout high school
Favorite Hobbies: Raising and showing livestock, especially sheep, Livestock judging and giving reasons, Rodeo and Western events, Working with livestock and on the farm, Basketball, Listening to music, Working with equipment and doing projects, and Spending time with friends and family
Favorite Sports Team: Kansas City Chiefs
Future Goals: “My future plan is to become an animal nutritionist and help feed America."
