Coach Forgy

Brett Forgy

Coach Forgy grew up on a small farm in southeast Oklahoma, where his family enjoyed raising simmental cattle and harvesting pecans. He fell in love with the agriculture industry at a young age, and knew early that he wanted to pursue a career in the livestock field.

Forgy enjoyed showing cattle and his experiences in the Silo FFA chapter throughout high school, which led him to pursue livestock judging at the college level at Connors State College.

Upon obtaining his associate’s degree, Forgy transferred to the University of Nebraska to continue his academic and judging career.

After graduating from the University of Nebraska, Forgy began his coaching career at Garden City Community College. He hopes to share the same insights and guidance that his coaches and mentors provided him during his college years here at home with the next generation at Murray State College!
