WARNER, Okla. — The Murray State College men's soccer team put together another strong offensive performance Wednesday night, defeating Connors State College 7-0.

The Aggies took control early, scoring twice in the opening half to take a 2-0 lead into the break. Caio Carneiro Teixeira opened the scoring before Miguel Aguilar added a second goal to give Murray State College a comfortable halftime advantage.

Murray State College continued to apply pressure after halftime, adding five more goals to pull away. James Owen opened the second-half scoring with a penalty kick before Teixeira found the back of the net for his second goal of the night.

Owen, then, added his second goal of the match, followed by another goal from Aguilar to give the Aggies a 6-0 advantage. Tom Perrin capped the scoring with the final goal of the night as Murray State College completed the 7-0 victory.

Murray State College returns to action Sunday, Sept. 20, when the Aggies travel to Enid to take on Northern Oklahoma College - Enid at 7 p.m.
