GRAND LAKE, Okla. – The Murray State College bass fishing team continued its reign atop Oklahoma collegiate fishing this weekend, securing its third consecutive Oklahoma School of the Year title in dominant fashion.

The Aggies capped off another remarkable season by winning five of the six Oklahoma events on the schedule, showcasing consistency and depth across the roster. Their sustained success once again set the standard for collegiate fishing programs across the state.

Leading the way for Murray State College was the duo of Carl Robbins and Riley Motrych, who turned in an outstanding season on the water. The pair finished second at the state championship event, while also earning Anglers of the Year honors for their cumulative performance throughout the season. Their ability to consistently land top finishes played a key role in the Aggies' overall success.

At the helm, Coach Owen was recognized for his leadership, earning Oklahoma Coach of the Year honors for the third consecutive season. Under his guidance, the program has developed into a powerhouse, combining strong individual performances with a team-first approach that continues to produce results.

The Murray State College bass fishing team returns to the waters Apr. 29-30 at Kerr Lake.
