SAN ANTONIO, Texas — The Murray State College shotgun team once again etched its name at the top of junior college shooting sports this afternoon, capturing the ACUI Division IV National Championship for the second consecutive year in commanding fashion.
The Aggies delivered a remarkable all-around performance, earning national titles in multiple disciplines. Murray State secured the Classic All-Around Team National Championship, showcasing its depth and consistency across events. The team also claimed top honors in Sporting Clays and Super Sporting, further solidifying its dominance on the national stage.
Individually, several Aggies turned in standout performances against the nation's best shooters. Hunter Miller earned a runner-up finish in the Collegiate Clay Target Championships, while Tate Boyd followed closely with a third-place finish in the same event, giving Murray State two athletes on the podium.
In Sporting Clays, Kenneth Owen Robertson added to the team's success with a third-place finish in the national championships, contributing to the Aggies' overall team title in the event.
