Jekyll Island, Ga. – The Murray State College women's golf team competed at the 2026 Coastal Georgia Winter Invitational, held Feb. 9–10 at Jekyll Island Golf Club in Georgia. The Lady Aggies finished 11th overall in a strong field that featured multiple nationally ranked programs.
As a team, the Lady Aggies posted rounds of +49 and +27 for a two-day total of +76. Murray State showed significant improvement in the second round, trimming 22 strokes off its opening-day score to close the tournament with momentum.
Amiya Raja led the way for the Lady Aggies, finishing tied for 24th at +11. After an opening-round +9, Raja responded with an impressive +2 in round two, one of the stronger second day performances in the field.
Paula Gorostiaga Alvarez delivered a solid second round as well, carding a +4 on day two to finish tied for 40th at +17 overall.
Hana Cunnane placed tied for 58th at +26 (13-13), while
Isabella Stevens finished 66th at +29, improving by 13 strokes from round one (+21) to round two (+8).
Emma Hardison rounded out the lineup, finishing tied for 71st at +33.
The tournament was highlighted by a tightly contested individual race with Embry-Riddle's Bellamaria Mantini and Savannah College Art and Design's Yunyi Luo sharing medalist honors at +2.
Murray State College finished just outside the top ten at No. 11 in the team standings. Keiser University took home first, while Savannah College Art and Design and Eastern Florida State rounded out the top three.
The Murray State College Women's Golf will compete at the NCTC invitational in Gainsville, Texas. The event will take place on February 23-24.
