Box Score MIAMI, Okla. – The Aggies secured a thrilling 2-1 victory over Northeastern Oklahoma A&M on Sunday, highlighted by a dramatic late goal from Dariel Contrera.

Murray State took an early lead in the 4th minute when Nicholas Dunn found the back of the net. Northeastern Oklahoma A&M responded in the first half, leveling the score at 1-1 before halftime.

The match remained tightly contested throughout the second half, with both teams creating scoring opportunities but unable to break the deadlock. In the 85th minute, Dariel Contrera struck the decisive goal, sending Murray State ahead for good.

Coach Winning was pleased with the effort from the guys tonight. "It was great character from the guys tonight to come through a competitive team away from home. Coming up with big moments when they matter most is super important and Dariel showed he has that in his locker."

With this victory, Murray State College improves to 2-1-1 and 2-0 in Region 2 play. The Aggies return to the pitch on Wednesday for a home match against Rose State College at 3:30 p.m.
