TISHOMINGO, Okla. – Not only has the spring semester been extremely successful for the Murray State College athletics teams on their respective playing surfaces, but the Aggie student-athletes have also excelled in the classroom. The Murray State College Athletics Department recorded a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.24 for the spring 2025 semester.
 
Eight different Aggie athletic teams had a combined GPA above 3.0. Five programs had a team GPA of 3.4 or higher, including women's golf (3.59), women's soccer (3.53), softball (3.45), women's cross country (3.42), and baseball (3.41).
 
"Our second-semester GPA continues to prove our commitment to the classroom - something that we do not take lightly here at Murray State College," said Director of Athletics Brandon Bowling. "Being a full-time student and athlete is a major commitment, and this is an admirable achievement. Congrats to our student athletes, coaches, professors and staff that help our young people build themselves with their future in focus."
