SEMINOLE, Okla. – For the third time this season and second consecutive week, Murray State College softball player -
Brylee Fanning - was named the Region 2 Player of the Week.
The freshman from Moore, Oklahoma, hit .714 on the week with 10 runs scored, 7 RBIs, 4 home runs and 3 doubles. Fanning's biggest game came in a 10-0 thumping of ASU-Three Rivers as the second baseman went a perfect 4-for-4 from the plate including 2 home runs, 2 doubles, 3 runs scored, and 2 RBIs.
On the season, Fanning has been a tremendous leadoff batter as she is hitting .554 with a .632 on-base percentage. The freshman has recorded a team-best 51 hits, 51 runs scored, and 12 long balls. The Lady Aggie has also tallied 43 RBIs with a team-high 1.087 slugging percentage.
The third-ranked Murray State College softball team is currently 29-1 on the season.

The Lady Aggies return to action Mar. 27 as they travel to Arkansas for a doubleheader against ASU-Newport. First pitch is scheduled for noon.
