"I am really proud of Shashank for getting his first collegiate win," said Coach Coppedge. "Shawshank has had quite a few top 5 finishes this season, so I am glad to see him break through with a first-place finish! Dylan continues his incredible play with another top 5 finish this year. The men's team went out and played well today to secure the win. Conditions were tough today. Fast greens and windy weather don't generally add up to great play, but the men's team overcame it."
"Newcomer
Addison Furtick played well. I am excited to see the girls play next week against some great NJCAA Div II competition in Lake City, Florida.
Cadence Merchant played an incredible 17 holes today. She had an eventful one hole, but I am very pleased with how she played this week. Overall, it was a very successful home event!"
The Murray State College women's golf team is back on the course next week in Lake City, Florida. The men's golf team will have a few weeks off before their District Preview at Mineral Area College on March 31. The one-day event will take place in Park Hills, Missouri.
