Box Score TISHOMINGO, Okla. - Murray State College men's soccer earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Western Texas College to claim the Mid-South District Championship and secure their place among the nation's best.

The decisive moment came in the 31st minute, when Nicholas Dunn rose above the defense to meet a perfectly placed corner kick, heading the ball past the keeper to give the Aggies the lead. That goal proved to be all Murray State needed, as the team showed tremendous poise and determination on both ends of the field.

For the remainder of the match, the Aggies' defense held strong, turning away multiple Western Texas scoring opportunities and maintaining their composure under pressure, en route to another clean sheet for Murray State.

After a hard-fought match, Coach Winning reflected on the effort, saying, "Was a dogged performance where we had to be disciplined for long periods of the game. It is a testament to the work we have done over the season to see us wipe clean our losses from earlier in the season. Onto Daytona Beach now!"

With the victory, Murray State College advances to the 2025 NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida. The national tournament features 12 of the top teams from across the country, all competing for the chance to bring home the national title.
