Box Score TISHOMINGO, Okla. - The Murray State College women's soccer team battled valiantly this afternoon but came up just short, falling 2-1 to the NOC-Enid Jets in a closely contested match.
After NOC-Enid scored the first goal of the game, the Lady Aggies continued to fight and found the equalizer in the 69th minute when
Jasmyn Jackson delivered a clutch goal to tie the match at 1-1.
Both teams traded chances down the stretch, but it was the Jets who capitalized late, scoring in the 87th minute to reclaim the lead and secure the victory.
With the result, the Lady Aggies move to 4-4 in Region 2 action.
The Lady Aggies will look to bounce back in their next match as they continue conference play in a road matchup against Seminole State College. The match is set for a 2:00 p.m. start.
