TISHOMINGO, Okla. – Murray State College men's soccer rallied in dominant fashion to earn a 4–1 home victory over Northern Oklahoma College–Enid on Sunday.
NOC-Enid struck first, taking a 1–0 lead with a goal in the first half. The Aggies regrouped after the break and responded with an explosive offensive performance, netting four unanswered goals in the final 45 minutes.
Bernardo Silva opened the scoring for Murray State in the 57th minute, capitalizing on a rebound to level the match at 1–1. Just nine minutes later,
Mateus Valsecchi Ribeiro put the Aggies ahead with a brilliant left-footed strike from just outside the box in the 66th minute.
Murray State kept the momentum going as
Daniel Minhas extended the lead to 3–1 in the 68th minute, rising to head home a corner kick.
Francisco Madruga put the finishing touch on the win in the 84th minute, blasting a shot from outside the box that found the top of the net.
The victory marks an impressive comeback and another strong performance for the Aggies as they continue their conference schedule.
Murray State returns to the pitch Oct. 19 as they take on Eastern Oklahoma State College. The match is set to start at 10:30 a.m.
