Murray State College women's wrestling kicked off the season with an impressive showing at the Falcon Open, as
Coach Mayfield shared his thoughts on the team's strong performance: "Our women competed hard this weekend at the Falcon Open and brought home two podium finishes.
Dixie Holliday wrestled great all day and took first, while Jordan Wilson battled through a tough bracket to place fourth. 13 other Aggies wrestled extremely tough. I'm proud of how our women continue to improve each week and represent Murray State the right way. It was a great first tournament as we turn our focus to the men, who hit the mat today."
The Murray State women's wrestling team returns to the mat on Sunday, Nov. 9 as they take on Carl Albert State College.
