MENA, Ark. - Murray State College closed out the regular season with a 2-1 road victory over the University of Arkansas-Rich Mountain on Wednesday.

Both teams found the back of the net in the first half, with the Aggies' goal coming off an own goal by Rich Mountain. The score would remain knotted at one as the halftime whistle sounded.

In the second half, Murray State regained control as
Dariel Contrera delivered the game-winning goal in the 63rd minute, finishing a setup from
Lyhem Zarrad. The Aggie defense held strong the rest of the way, fending off any late chance from the Bucks to secure the win.

With the victory, Murray State carries momentum into postseason play and will now turn its focus to the upcoming Region 2 Tournament.

The Aggies will open up Region 2 Tournament play next week. The Region 2 Tournament spans from October 30 - November 2.
