An aggressive early assault resulted in four first half goals and the Murray State Lady Aggies cruised by Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, 6-0, in women's soccer action Wednesday night in Miami.

Coach John Connor's squad dominated possession in its offensive end while rolling to its seventh shutout victory in improving their record to 8-1-1 overall and 5-1-1 in league action. Murray State returns home Sunday to face off against NOC-Tonkawa as they continue conference play.

The Lady Aggies picked up goals from Aimee Steele, Jasandra Joseph, Uxia Varela, Cristina Escudero, Mercedes Stumblingbear and Bethan Cowd while distributing the scoring wealth. Lily Humes notched a pair of assists along with assists from Annika Huder, Escudero, Varela and Kaylee Foster.

Jimena Guevara had another clean slate in goal, needing just two saves thanks to another stellar defensive effort from the back line troops.
