Murray State Sports Information

The Lady Aggie soccer team remained unbeaten Wednesday while the Murray State men suffered their first defeat in a conference road split at Rose State.

In the opener the Murray State women notched a 2-1 victory, but the Aggies could not get much going offensively in a 3-0 loss to the powerful Raiders.

Coach John Connor's women are now 5-0 going into a 2 p.m. Sunday home date with Connors State. The Aggies will carry a 3-1 record into a 4 p.m. meeting against the Cowboys as well.

Kaylee Foster powered in one goal and assisted on a spectacular score by Uxia Varela. Freshman Jasandra Joseph contributed the other assist.

"The women continued to improve and played well," Connor said. "It wasn't a very good game all the way around for the men. We've got to get better before Sunday."
