The Murray State Lady Aggies scored early and often while dominating possession once again in a 7-0 whitewashing of Connors State College in conference women's soccer action on the road in Warner on Tuesday.
Standout goalkeeper
Jimena Guevara only needed to make two saves on the way to her 10
th shutout of the season. The Lady Aggies improved their record to 12-1-1, which is their best mark since posting 14 victories in 2019. They will next look to avenge their only loss on Friday when they hit the road again for a key matchup with nationally third ranked Seminole State College.
Coach John Connor's women utilized a well-balanced offensive charge once again spurred by Spain's
Uxia Varela with a hat trick, accounting for three of the goals as well as an assist.
Kaylee Foster,
Cristina Escudero,
Celine Loraine and
Katherine Walker also tallied one goal apiece. Escudero also contributed two assists with Jassandra Joseph,
Aimee Steele,
Hanna Brew and
Caitlin Jones all posting one.
